Summer events in Ukiah 2022

SUMMER is approaching us quicker than we may hope to believe. Because I don't know about y'all but I'm ready for 115 degrees man. Anyways, let's talk about what we're gonna do this summer. So, you can get your calendars blocked off to make sure you're here for Ukiah's hottest events!

Hi, my name is Kasie Gray, your homegirl broker associate, here in Ukiah California - where I was born, well I wasn't born here but I was born close enough here and raised here. And I have attended 90 of these events once in my life. So, I'm here to give you the scoop on what there is to do this summer in Ukiah and how you can get involved.

Okay, first up we got Sundays in the Park. Do I know what days? No, I don't! But like any of these events make sure to follow me over on Instagram. I'll be sure to post anytime I see that events are happening. But you can also like the Ukiah Valley Tourism Alliance Group and follow the city rec page online. I will leave a ton of links down below so that you can stay up to date with all things Ukiah's events. And of course, Facebook is wonderful for fun for finding events go to the events tab and search locally. And if you are hosting an event make sure to share on there. And if you are a woman you can join women in business to share your events over there.

Sundays like every other Sunday, I don't know what day. I do know that there's no country which is because last year Charlie Crockett came and it was like the best day of my entire life because I love him so much! And to see him free in concert is the best but if you've never been to Sundays in the park the people watching is on a fleet the dance moves out there are almost as good as mine.

We also have Saturdays for farmer's market - 9 to 12. Moonlight movie madness is put on by the city rec club moonlight movie madness is where they host a movie in the now Anton stadium and you can watch a movie there for free and a big projection screen. And you bring your comfies and hang out at the movies I know it's like one of my favorite activities as a child and they also put on swim lessons. And summer safari so if you have children of school age make sure to sign them up for that and they also do usually a fourth of July event.

So make sure to follow city rec both on Facebook and on Instagram the city rec club is also putting on a yard sale, a community yard sale. May 21st and also on May 21st McCarthy's bar in red valley is putting on a car show. And speaking of car shows the downtown will have a car show on September 28th and if you have questions about other events that the Ukiah valley tourism alliance group is putting on and you can go follow them on Facebook. Like I said link down below but hopefully a ton more events coming soon for that.

And then also if you want more county-wide events you can always visit Mendocino's Event Page. And if you have an event you can always submit one to them as well but they will post the different events and festivals that are going on throughout the year. So like I said lots to do in Ukiah.
