If you're looking for a little guide on what to maintain in your home this June this is your quick resource!

Hi, my name is Kasie Gray, and I love helping first-time sellers buy their dream homes, and today we're talking about maintaining your home! Once you become a homeowner, there's nobody to call, it is all on you. I mean you can call some trusted resources that I will have linked down below but these are 10 things that you can do this month to make sure you're maintaining your home to the best of your homeowner's ability.

One, clean out those gutters and the downspouts after a rough winter. It is definitely necessary to power wash the driveways and sidewalks. There's probably quite a bit of built-up Moss depending on where you're at and it can get slippery. Now's the Time to do it before it's too hot! Clean and repair outdoor play equipment. Like I said, a rough winter so there are probably some things that need to be touched up and cleaned. So get on that next!

Number four is that clean and check the AC and schedule some maintenance if needed before they get way too busy and booked up and cannot help you and it's 110 and you have no AC. Number five, prep that grill for barbecuing. Don't use wire brushes because that's how people die. I've seen it on Tiktok, like three times. I just put my barbecue on fire instead but for real prep that Grill and get ready for some barbecuing. Number six is clean out the dryer vents and exhaust duct. If you need a recommendation on someone to come and do that for you I will link one down below.

Number seven, wash fold organize all those beach towels and pool supplies. I like having a little bag ready to go with our towels all of our sunscreen and our outside necessities bug spray and I usually have a bag of snacks in there so that if somebody says, 'Hey let's go to the pool, or let's go to the beach, let's go do this', it is ready to go and we are ready to go. Sometimes I'll just even keep it in the car with us so if I'm at work and the kids are at daycare, it's just an easy transition. We just go to daycare to the pool. So I highly recommend that setup.

Number eight, organize and store those school supplies. You've been using them for almost the whole school year and now you can declutter and go through the things that you will and won't need for the next year and put them away and hang those backpacks up. Number nine is to replace your air filters. If you haven't done this recently it's a must-do especially to make sure your AC is working properly. Number 10, dust those ceiling fans and set them to turn counterclockwise that will make sure that your house is cool down and not heated up. Did you know that the way that the fan spins determines that but now you do? So, if you're a homeowner and you have accomplished all these things, make sure to raise your hand down in the comment section. If you want my full complete annual calendar, you can get that down below for free! I look forward to helping you in the future maintain your home, not me personally but helping you give you a list of things to do!
