What's in my Hospital Bag? (Baby #2!) | Real Estate Agent Mom

Things I am packing in my hospital bag the second time Mom!

Hi, my name is Kasie Gray, I'm a mom and realtor, and I love helping people love living their life in Ukiah and I live in Ukiah. So, this is my video it's not about real estate if you don't care about that then just keep scrolling but this is what I'm packing in my hospital bag as a mom for the second time.

When it comes to swaddles, I'm packing two of these and I ordered a swaddle weenie I haven't gotten it yet but I'm gonna put that in the bag soon. When it comes to clothes, I'm packing this little knotted gown with the Ruffles so cute and I am packing two onesies both like kimono onesies. So a lot of buttons but they are easy to get on and off for like when the nurses come in. One pair of pants, one little white footy footless, a set of two newborn sleepers, a little one with the cows, and then six bows my two-year-old doesn't let me put bows on her anymore.

So, I'm just excited to have a baby that can't say no it's gonna be so much fun, and then for coming home her sister came home in this outfit. So I was gonna bring this so she can come home in it too and then I was overthinking at like two o'clock in the morning and I was like "What if I should pack a different outfit? So then first her shirt they can each you know if they have kids if they want to have kids they have daughters and then their daughters can come home in separate outfits but it'll just be fine. If they have kids they can fight over it or they can share and let their sis children come home in that one little hat one pair of socks just because there's only one outfit a binky and that is all that I have for the baby.

I'm not bringing you diapers or whatever else I brought the first time I don't know what I brought the first time but I know it was a lot things.

I'm bringing for myself dry shampoo and a razor. So I'll have some free time this is Frida Perry bottle much better than the hospital ones were my favorite things in the whole world the last time I gave birth. So I'm bringing a pack and they're much more comfortable than the hospital ones for me personally last time I had I gave birth and that's all that I used pretty much and the water bottle in the Perry bottle is all that I used for like in the hospital.

I'll bring my makeup and probably a curling iron just because of my hair, I just curl it and it takes five minutes and it's so much easier than doing anything else or even putting it in a bun for me honestly. I ordered myself a new set of packing cubes. If you don't already have packing cubes you're missing out but I will also be packing some snacks just because last time I gave birth like everything was closed, I ended up getting some McDonald's. You just want to have some snacks. You're on snacks not everyone else's snacks snacks snacks. I'm bringing some Pringles some popcorn some granola bars some fruit roll-ups bunch of snacks some MM's crackers. I know they have crackers there but I'm one of those people that don't ask for anything so I'll just bring my own.

For clothes that I'm bringing for myself, personally, nothing was better the last time than putting on a really tight pair of leggings I'm like I'm wearing a really tight pair of leggings right now but they don't fit very well. So I prefer cropped versus like buttons so or like something that I can pull down easily or pull up versus like buttoning something. I don't have the time for that. I mean I do have the time for that but I don't like it. So I'm bringing this super soft shirt from Thread Supply it's just Walmart basic probably to go home and I am gonna bring this. It's silky it's technically like business clothes but also like people wear this for pajamas. I don't know it's one of the only button-up things that I have.

In case I change my mind about it this time then I have that as an option just cropped just a black shirt from I think Walmart another just a black T-shirt with a prop crew neck. Then, I'm gonna bring this sweater with me and bring this tank top bra and a couple of other just stretchy sports bras and then hair leggings and another pair of leggings. This one pair of sweatpants, I don't think I will need all of these things rather have them than send somebody to go get them, and then a hair tie and deodorant can't forget those things.

I see a lot of people bring like Hakkas and stuff to the hospital but your milk doesn't come in that well anyways until you're like at home and hopefully we won't be there that long. I highly recommend the LV curve to anyone I am a Die Hard LV curve fan and if I see the word Hakka anywhere I'm like no Elfie curve because the Haka is so inconvenient. You have to sit there with your whole chest out like your baby right here, your Hakka right here, you just feel like a cow whereas with the LV curve, you just stick this into your bra and section it and it gets your let down and a little bit more. I only breastfed my daughter and I did work and I never pumped. I mean I pumped maybe one or two times if I was gone for more than eight hours but other than that all of her breast milk pretty much came from my LV curve and just collected on the other side when I was nursing her.

For the times that I was nursing her I wasn't granted I wasn't working full time and I was only away from her for a few hours at a time but still for a whole year. I never I hardly pumped and I only used my LV curve and it was the best thing to ever happen to me. I'm an LV curve stan if you mentioned Hakka around me, I will throw my hands because I cannot stand the Hakka. Get this. Save yourself but I'm gonna leave it at home. I'm gonna worry about collecting milk once I get home not at the hospital.

So highly recommend hopefully this is everything that I'm gonna bring!

Things I forgot to mention, soft hair thing claw clip, some more bras, and I'm not bringing underwear or flip-flops. I don't get why people are so worried about the shower. Why do you need shower shoes? I don't know. I'll just bring my regular shoes and maybe some slippers probably. Not just bring some socks throw out my socks you know like your feet are in the shower to get washed and then you go on the towel. I don't understand why we need shoes. I forgot more things. I got the baby this cheetah blanket and I have a matching one they're dupes they're not Barefoot Dreams. They're from whatever brand TJ Maxx sometimes has. So I'll bring you be bringing our two blankets and probably my Boppy Pillow or maybe just a regular pillow that I like from home haven't decided yet!
