Low Gap Park | Ukiah, CA

Today, we're at Low Gap Park and we are exploring all of the amenities that Low Gap Park has to offer. There are two different park setups: one, at the top of the park that is all sizes pretty much, it does have a couple of baby swings one is currently missing but hopefully, they plan to replace it soon, and then they have a little two to five-year-old park further down closer to the dog parks there are two dog parks fenced areas, one is for small dogs and one is for big dogs. And there is a ton of hiking trails out low gap park. There is frisbee golf. There is an unbelievable amount of picnic tables. There are basketball courts. There are fitness courses. There's an archery course. There is seriously so much to do at this park.

There is a volleyball net. There are a couple of porta-potties up at the top set up near the dog parks and the baby playground and at the top towards the big kid park is a skate park with built-in bathrooms and tennis courts.

There are lots of trash cans. There are a couple of broken picnic tables. Plenty of trash cans and water fountains. You can have parties up here they used to have it used to be covered up here if I can remember correctly but I guess it's not anymore. The picnic tables are a bit rough but not terrible and there are tons of trails like I said a little spot where you can go down to the river and so many different things that happen at this park. So, we'll show you around you can visit the Ukiah Trail Group website to see all of the different trails but there's also a map at the beginning of the park which I'll show you right now. Here you can see all of the park information the rules the layout um all of the different trails. There are horseshoe pits, there are more trails and so much more we have a tree that looks like it's fallen.

I would not recommend coming if your child's addicted to dogs and only wants to play in the dog park there are dog park rules. There are the instructions for the fit trail. Make sure to take a picture so you know what you're doing when you get out there. There are a couple of obstacles in the dog parks. You don't need a silly little flyer more trash cans and quite a bit of graffiti. I think that this bridge has been here since I was a child. This one was definitely before I was a child. The river is normally full but we are in quite the drought.

You can access the river by going down that trail or across the bridge and down that trail. There are dog potty bags throughout the park horseshoe pits are down this area and barbecue pits and picnic tables normally that whole river spot is filled up.
