Perfect Breakfast in Ukiah | Best Breakfast Spots

Picture this- just woke up. It's eight in the morning, maybe ten, who knows how early you get up? And you are starving, you open the fridge, there's not much in there, and even if there is something in there, you're too tired to cook. Well, I have the perfect solutions for you! All of the breakfast foods are in Ukiah, California. So stay tuned because we're going to dive in and eat up some chicken fried steak.

If you're looking for a place for a delicious meal in the AM, these are my highly recommended places to grab breakfast and I'm going to tell you what my favorite breakfast meal at each of them is. So let's get this thing going! First on the list is Stan's Maple Cafe. If you go here and get anything besides the chicken fried steak, I kind of feel sorry for you but there are plenty of other amazing things on the menu but I probably get one like three or four not three or four, I'd say 10 times a month. Which is a lot.

And then next up is Mama's Cafe. They have some wonderful options my favorite at Mama's Cafe is a waffle with Nutella and strawberries but they have a ton of different bowl options and sandwich options. If you are a rosemary hater, like I am personally, Mama's eggs and potatoes are not going to be your fave because they season their things with rosemary. But if you like rosemary, then it will be your favorite place because they have a lot in their food. They're open for to-go food and for sit-down dining there. Make sure to check their hours and days that they're open before heading down but other than that, I highly recommend Mama's for some breakfast.

Next on the list is Schat's Bakery. They have a restaurant in the court, near the courthouse, and one in Friedman's. I love both places. They offer different things. They also have different names for the food items. So make sure to keep that in mind when ordering at either or but my favorite breakfast item is the breakfast croissant. I get mine with bacon in my egg over medium because I'm not a scrambled fan. But they have a ton of different wonderful breakfast foods including their bagels and their french toast is really really good. Has tons of berries and it's like a cinnamon roll. So highly recommend it.

Next on the list is Ellie's Mutt Hut. It has a ton of breakfast items that are wonderful but their bacon and their eggs are one of my favorites in town. And then they have some amazing shakes like their try shake and their mocha shake are to die for. They also have some wonderful smoothies.

Next on the list is Forks Cafe. My favorite from Forks Cafe is their biscuits and gravy. But they have a ton of grape other menu items as well. And then we are off to a Black Oak Coffee. My favorite is their original breakfast burrito but they have a ton of bakery items other burrito options and a couple of sandwiches. And of course, when you're not that hungry coffee is always a wonderful meal supplement.

Next on the list is Jensen's Truck Stop Restaurant. I can't remember the last time I had breakfast at Jensen's but tell me what you get at Jensen's Vegas. I'd love to know. Next is Star's restaurant. I love their ham breakfast. It's just like a ham steak and eggs and toast. They also have a wonderful benedict.

Next on the list is Windmill's. As a child, my favorite at Windmill Cafe was chocolate chip pancakes and I haven't evolved much since then. So still my favorite. Next up is Club Calpella where if you're not drinking your breakfast at Club Calpella, then you're kind of doing it wrong. They have a wonderful mimosa spread but they also have some amazing eggs benedict. A couple of other things that are the other places that offer mimosas are Ellie's Mutt Hut, Stars and Windmill and possibly Jensen's. I can't recall.
