Hi, I'm Kasie Gray, I'm a realtor a mom, and I have grown up in Ukiah. And now that I have a daughter in Ukiah, I want to make it as special as it was for me, for her, and not get in the mindset that we have no nice things because we do have nice things! Just when you live around them forever, your thoughts and values seem to diminish. But nonetheless, we are at Vinewood Park!

Today, there is so much flat-covered shaded area at all times of the day. It's currently 8:15. So, there are a ton but there are so many trees in this park that there will always be shade. I had like my first or second birthday here. I think it's a wonderful park. The equipment is newer compared to some of the other parks that I've recently done. There are no baby swings but there are big kids' swings. There are no handicap-accessible swings, and there is a bunch of picnic tables that are in decent condition, I mean the stain is chipping, but they're not, you know, completely deteriorating.

There is a basketball court and there is a community garden section. To get into the community garden, you have to have a space and rent it and maintain it on your own but you can contact the gardens project for more information about that if you're interested.

I think that pretty much covers it. I think this is one of the cleaner parks that we've been to and the play structure looks great. Like very well maintained somebody was doing some math homework on the bottom of the slide but whatever. Trash cans barbecue grills and bathrooms, porta-potties, I don't know if the other bathrooms are unlocked or not. I could go check on that I guess.

It is in a neighborhood, it's super quiet, and all of the fence lines back up to people's houses. So just keep that in mind. But other than that, it's a great little park. A couple of options for slides, lots of climbing material, and swings.
