5 Ways to Spruce Up Your Bathroom | Bathroom Ideas

If you're looking to spruce up your bathroom on a budget, this is a perfect video for you because in just a moment I'm going to get into my top five simple ways to spruce it up without having to break the bank! Hi, my name is Kasie Gray, I'm a realtor broker associate in the Ukiah area and I love helping first-time home sellers buy their dream homes. I also love helping people create their house into a home and one of the ways you can do that is by updating and continuing to make your house a happy place to live. So, I'm going to touch on five ways that you can update your bathroom without breaking the bank. The first step is to repaint the vanity. I recently did this with my bathroom and I went with a black it was like a brown before. So, try going something super bold. I know, Navy Shades, dark green is kind of in right now. Color is coming having a comeback I wouldn't necessarily go with like a gray. If you have any questions about what color you should do to your bathroom feel free to DM me a picture on Instagram and I would be more than happy to give you a mood. Next up! Switch up the textiles. So get a couple of accent towels to remain in the bathroom switch up the hardware on the vanity, get a new bath mat, a new shower curtain, something simple but yet a statement. I will link my bathroom pictures down below. Get a new shower head. Some people love the rainwater ones but I hate them because I can't wash can't take a shower without washing your hair, you know, like it's on top of you. But I do always anytime I move somewhere automatically get one of the shower heads that has the detachable hose. If you have kids or dogs, it is a lifesaver and it you know can give you a little DIY spa treatment just on your own head but that's one of the first things I do when I move into a house. Did you guys know that some people replace toilet seats also when they move into a new house? I thought that was super interesting. I just heard about that like couple months ago. Upgrade the light fixtures. A lot of simple older ones could possibly be spray painted. This is what I did with my bathroom or change out the faucet to a more simple modern one there's a ton of inexpensive options on Amazon for like 30 40 bucks. Add some funky artwork. We're not doing words. That's not in. Don't do it. We don't need signs that tell us to wash our hands or to wipe properly. So go something super bold like I said, my shower curtain is pretty bold. It's like a desert scene but if you have something just speaking to you at home goods throw that up. There a new mirror, there are tons of little simple ways that you can create a wonderful serene place. I also love adding in some shelving, you know, taking away the clutter but having a little cute place to display your q-tips or your tissues anything like that. We like to have our spacious spaces functional and usable especially when we're living in them. It's no fun to live in a model home. We want to be able to access our things easily and also have it look beautiful. So keep that in mind. If you have any questions, like I said, send me a DM and I'd be more than excited to help you do a mood board to revamp your bathroom get your shopping list, all that fun stuff!
